Three decades
on one thing

We started as a hand car wash and we have stayed with what interested us from the beginning: finishing one car properly rather than ten quickly.

Our story

How we got here

  1. 1991

    It all starts at Tondi 1

    A hand car wash opens at Tondi 1, and today's Stalla grows out of it. Cars are washed by hand, panel by panel — that is where our standard comes from.

  2. 2012

    A change of owner

    The business passes to its present owner. The hand wash carries on in the same place, but the direction is set: not speed, but what actually happens to the car.

  3. 2018

    New energy, new leadership

    The team grows and the leadership changes. From here the car wash becomes a detailing workshop — more people come on board and the range of work widens.

  4. 2020

    Certifications and expansion

    We complete XPEL, Gtechniq and several other manufacturer certifications and expand the Tondi 1 workshop considerably. Work carrying a manufacturer warranty becomes possible.

  5. 2021

    Stalla is born

    Tondi Käsipesula becomes Stalla — a new name for three decades of experience.

  6. 2024

    A new home in Peetri

    We move to Läike tee in Peetri, where there is room for separate film and polishing bays. Our partner Allika Pesula takes over the Tondi 1 workshop.

  7. 2026

    The space doubles

    The Peetri premises double in size and car storage joins the services — a dry, warm, monitored hall under the same roof as the workshop.
